Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately furry friends are not allowed. Registered guide dogs are always welcome

Can I run/walk with a pram/stroller
Yes. However, we do ask that prams start at the back.

What time does the race start?
Our race program is being worked on. This will be released closer to the time.

Where will times and photo's be published?
Your times will be live and available as soon as you cross the line.

A link to times and photos will be published closer to the time.

Can I register on the day?
No, unfortunately we will not be accepting registrations on event day.

Can I pick up my race pack on the day?
Yes, but please arrive early to ensure you make the starting line on time.  Preference if you can make it on one of the days prior to event day.

Where is the registration desk/bag drop area?
There will be a race day pack sent out prior to the event with a map of the venue on there.

What are the costs for children?
Children aged 0 to 4 years are free (will not receive a free t-shirt). Please refer to above table for registrations costs for ages 5 to 16.

Children aged 12 and under must register with a paying adult (17+ years old).

Running whilst carrying a child of any age whether in a front or back baby carrier/harness is not permitted during the event, as it poses a substantial safety risk. Walking whilst carrying a baby or child is permitted as long as their safety and welfare is not compromised.

Do you offer team registrations?
Teams of 5+ members will receive a 10% discount. The first 5 team members must be entered at the same time in order to get this discount. Thereafter, all individuals will receive the discount. Teams will close at midnight on the 3 April, only individual full paying entries will be accepted from the 4 April. Your team captain does not need to be participating in a team, they will have the option of adding themselves to the team after the team has been created. Teams will have the option of a group or individual pick-up. Please note there is no option to do a mix, it's one or the other.

Can I get a refund?
There are no refunds for non starters or non finishers. When an entrant registers, they accept the terms and conditions of entry. Below states clause 2 of the terms and conditions of participation:

“I understand that there will be no refunds available under any individual circumstance. A refund will be offered to teams and individuals if the Event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as COVID-19.”

I would like to do a different distance race, what are my options?
If you have changed your mind and wish to participate in a lower or higher distance event, you are able to downgrade/upgrade your registration. Please note upgrading to a higher distance race you will be required to pay the registration cost difference. There are no refunds available for changing to a lower distance race.

I am no longer able to participate, what should I do?
If you are no longer able to participate in the event at all, please contact admin@eventwizards.com.au

When and where do I collect my race pack?
You will need to collect your race pack from Race Office, which will be located at the Gardens Point Campus, Y Block, Level 5 Reception:

Thursday 2 May 2024 between 9am - 4pm

Friday 3 May 2024 between 9am – 4pm

Saturday 4 May 2024 between 9am – 12pm

Sunday 5 May 2024 between 6am – 7am (not Race Office, but registration desk at event location)

Please collect the Friday or Saturday to ease delays and to not miss briefing and t-shirt or singlet (if you were one of the first 1,000 registrants or you purchased one).

What do I need to collect my race pack? Can I collect someone else’s race pack?
Bring photo identification to collect your race pack. If you are collecting a race pack on behalf of another participant you will be required to provide a letter/email/text message showing you
have permission to do so along with a copy of their entry confirmation.

If you are collecting a team’s race packs, please email sports@qut.edu.au so we can have this ready to go.

Is there a baggage drop?
Yes! You can leave your bags at our designated area.
