And most recently the Vice Chancellors Award for Team Excellence for the KickStart program in 2016. Part of her work has always involved working with a diverse range of other academics and professional staff at QUT. In July 2012 I was one of a team of recipients to be awarded the Vice Chancellors Award for Excellence in Leadership, and I feel this demonstrates my ability to work both independently and provide leadership.
Jan’s other life involves being a part time musician, songwriter, poet, MC & facilitator for Graduations, Weddings, Engagements, Conferences and general social gatherings. She loves her work and really enjoys having fun while leading and teaching. Jan believes strongly in living life to the fullest, and grabbing opportunities to be challenged wherever she can.
