It's never too late to Apomogise
Rachel Burke is a textile artist, clothing designer, and stylist. She is the founder and artist behind Apomogy, a communal art project encouraging people to anonymously apologise through a handmade pom pom.
First gaining recognition in 2012 for her 365 dress-a-day project i make. you wear it., she has since gone on to pave an exciting career as a full-time creative, currently working as the fashion editorial stylist for Frankie Magazine, DIY blogger for BONDS and the Senior Womenswear Designer at Universal Store.
Rachel has worked on a number of self-devised and collaborative projects including Fancy Free, a YouTube DIY channel (started alongside Patience Hodgson), Pomiscuity; an exhibition of handmade pom pom sculptures; Craft Captain at Splendour in the Grass (2015, 2016), and Workshop Host for GOMA’s 2016 Cindy Sherman exhibition.
