Madeleine Van is the Co-Founder of Brisbane based start-up Van&Villa. Van&Villa is an innovative company which supports the agricultural industry by assuming organic waste and using natural chemical processes to turn it into cosmetics and nutraceutical products. The company has a particular focus on the extraction of anthocyanins, a naturally occurring compound which has shown to be effective in cancer reduction, weight loss management and cardiovascular health.

Madeleine has an educational background in plant sciences and economics and has worked in the House of Commons in London. She intends to redefine the meaning of ‘waste products’ in the global agricultural economy and derive extensive value from nature without harming the environment.
