Speaker Profile

Josh Phillips is in his penultimate year of study at QUT, currently undertaking a double degree in Business and Film. He is the president of the QUT Hype podcast club and regularly volunteers as a member of QUT Connect. Off campus, Josh loves public speaking and does as much of it as he can. He is a member of Rostrum Australia and hosts trivia weekly.

After attending TEDxQUT 2019 as an audience member, Josh knew he wanted to be part of the action, making him a valuable addition as the emcee for the TEDxQUT 2021.
