Health management programs
QUT Health Clinics offer a number of programs for people recovering from illness or surgery, and those living with chronic health conditions.

Cancer care
QUT and RBWH partner to offer a group support program involving dietetics, exercise physiology, psychology and nursing for people who have completed active cancer treatment.

Cardiac rehabilitation
This flexible, individualised program is specifically designed for people recently discharged from hospital cardiology departments.

Diabetes and healthy kidneys (North Lakes)
This is a combined exercise and health education group program facilitated by QUT Health Clinics (QHC) and the Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS), providing quality lifestyle interventions for people living with Diabetes, with or without chronic kidney disease.

Type 2 Diabetes (Kelvin Grove)
This is a combined exercise and health education group program facilitated by QUT Health Clinics (QHC) and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH), providing quality lifestyle interventions for people living with Type 2 Diabetes, whether newly diagnosed or living with the condition long term.

Eating disorders
Clients are treated holistically through medical monitoring, psychotherapy, dietetic interventions and exercise physiology interventions.

Pulmonary rehabilitation
QUT’s Exercise Physiology and Nutrition and Dietetics clinics join forces to assist people diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
