The Nutrition and Dietetics Clinic helps young people and their families to eat well throughout all stages of childhood and adolescence, from introducing solids to packing healthy lunchboxes.
Our Paediatric Dietitian can also assist with meeting specific nutritional requirements to optimise growth and assist in a wide range of clinical conditions including diabetes, fussy eating, sensory concerns and food allergies or intolerances. We also offer sports nutrition consultations, which can help active young people meet their dietary requirements for optimum sports performance.

We offer dedicated paediatric consultations, including afternoon appointments to fit in with your schedule. Good vision is important to a child’s education and learning ability, and can also influence physical development such as fine and gross motor skills. Children require both visual clarity and visual efficiency (eye teaming and accurate eye movements) for success in schoolwork and sport.
School-aged children may indicate vision issues by complaining of headaches or having difficulty seeing the whiteboard in class. Parents and teachers may also notice them sitting too close to the TV, rubbing their eyes frequently or seeming to lose their place when reading.
Our optometry services provide free and comprehensive consultations to young people—no Medicare card required. Our wide range of equipment and treatment options allow us to test for (and treat) conditions affecting vision, eye alignment and focusing, depth perception, visual information processing and ocular health.
The Podiatry Clinic offers dedicated paediatric services, including evening and Saturday appointments to fit in with your schedule.
Parents are often concerned when children complain of heel or leg pain, frequently fall over, or show signs of in-toeing, out-toeing or toe-walking. As a result, we can offer reassurance, monitoring and intervention when needed for conditions that will not naturally resolve with age.
We also provide footwear advice and gait analysis assessments, and regularly assist children in enhancing sporting performance, performing back to school assessments and resolving general lower limb pain or discomfort. We also offer disability services for children with special needs.
The Psychology and Counselling Clinic provides therapy to children and adolescents, addressing issues including anxiety, behavioural problems, emotion regulation, friendships and social skills, low mood, sleeping difficulties, and behavioural support for children with ASD and ADHD. The clinic also provides family therapy to assist with strengthening family relationships and supporting parenting.
Additionally, the service provides low cost psychometric assessments to investigate learning difficulties, intelligence and memory in children and young people.
To make an appointment or for all enquiries, please call (07) 3138 0999.
